A Summer Tradition Returns

On August 1, Hakodate will once again welcome one of its signature summer events, the Hakodate Port Festival.

The festival opens with the Doshin Fireworks Display, a spectacular evening event over the harbor.
From Saiwaizaka, where HOTEL BIACLYN HAKODATE is located, the view is especially beautiful, and guests may also enjoy the colors of the night sky from their rooms.

During the same season, the Aomori Nebuta Festival and Hirosaki Neputa Festival are also within reach from Hakodate, with day trips possible via the Hokkaido Shinkansen.
